Cedric Masters Ltd, Set to Roll Out EV Charging Stations Across Nigeria

As part of its strategic commitment to accelerating sustainable mobility across Nigeria, Cedric Masters Ltd, through its clean energy arm, Cedric Clean Energy Solutions Ltd, has launched an initiative to establish a robust network of electric vehicle (EV) charging stations nationwide. Leveraging its assembly plant in Lekki, Lagos, Cedric Masters has pioneered the local assembly of EV chargers designed to withstand local operational demands.

This charging infrastructure expansion serves as a critical foundation for the group's broader e-mobility roadmap, which includes supporting local EV assembly (such as the Leapmotor and JIM-ISUZU lines) and powering green commercial fleets like their e-hailing platforms and upcoming EV taxi initiatives.

By pairing locally assembled charging hardware with electric vehicle distribution, Cedric Masters Ltd is driving Nigeria's shift toward zero-emission transportation.

The Plan

Key Highlights of the Charging Infrastructure Plan

A bold, multi-pronged strategy to deploy EV charging infrastructure at scale across Nigeria's urban and intercity corridors.

Localized Assembly & Manufacturing

Assembled locally in Lagos to build domestic technical capacity, reduce reliance on foreign supply chains, and lower rollout costs.

Integrated E-Mobility Ecosystem

Designed to power Cedric Masters’ upcoming EV taxi fleet, commercial fleets, and private EV users, addressing "range anxiety" across major urban centers like Lagos and Abuja.

Versatile Charger Network

Deploying a mix of fast-charging DC stations for commercial/public hubs and AC wallbox chargers for corporate offices and home installations.

Policy & Industry Alignment

Strategic positioning alongside key national initiatives, such as the Presidential Initiative on CNG/EVs and the Electric Vehicle Transition Bill, to support grid integration and clean energy adoption across petrol stations and commercial transport hubs.

What We Deploy

Powering Nigeria's E-Mobility Roadmap

Our charging infrastructure is the foundation for a fully integrated e-mobility ecosystem, supporting locally assembled EVs, electrifying ride-hailing fleets, and enabling green commercial transport.

Supporting local EV assembly (Leapmotor & JIM-ISUZU lines)
Powering green commercial fleets and EV taxi initiatives
Addressing range anxiety across Lagos, Abuja, and beyond
Enabling clean energy adoption at petrol stations and transport hubs

Why This Matters

Range anxiety is one of the biggest barriers to EV adoption in Nigeria. By deploying a dense, reliable, and locally maintained charging network, Cedric Masters is removing that barrier and accelerating the shift to zero-emission transportation nationwide.
