Cedric Masters Group exhibited the JIM Isuzu Pickup at the West African Automotive Show (WAAS), held May 12–14, 2026 at the Landmark Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos.
The Director-General of the National Automotive Design and Development Council, Joseph Oluwemimo Osanipin, lauded the quality, durability, comparative affordability and local market suitability of the JIM Isuzu Pickup vehicles during a tour of the exhibitors' pavilion, shortly after declaring the 3-day automotive show open.
Osanipin described the JIM Isuzu Pickup as a product that aligns with the Federal Government's vision of strengthening Nigeria's automotive industry through quality vehicle assembly, local content development and improved mobility solutions. He expressed satisfaction with the engineering standards, ruggedness and adaptability of the vehicles to Nigerian road and operational conditions.
"I have also driven the JIM Isuzu Pickup many times and I can say that the JIM Pickup is one product that guarantees prospective buyers return on investment (ROI)," the NADDC DG stated, adding that the quality of the pickup "is impressive and clearly designed with durability and functionality in mind."
He further stressed that reliable utility vehicles such as the JIM would play critical roles across sectors including logistics, agriculture, construction, security operations and small business transportation, and reiterated the importance of patronising locally assembled vehicles to stimulate industrial growth, create jobs and deepen automotive value-chain development in the country.
On his part, Eze Igwe, General Manager of Cedric Motors, reaffirmed the company's commitment to delivering high-quality vehicles tailored to the Nigerian market, noting that the JIM Isuzu pickup combines performance, fuel efficiency, rugged suspension and driver comfort, making it suitable for both commercial and personal applications.
